Strategic Organizational Development Interventions Implementation by Higher Education Loan Provider in Malaysia
Abstract
This article aims to elaborate the implementation of the strategic organizatioal development intervention inlign with new leadership paradigm in organization. Many researches and studies have been carried out to support the organizational development and change management (ODC) and leadership transformation. None are perfect to be used by many due to the characteristic of each entity and issue. The challenge for leaders and managers or corporate entity nowadays is how to initiate or develop a good ethical intervention and organizational change management during leadership transformation paradigm that suit with their stakeholders, cultures and norms. Eventually ODC is the important element for any organization toward achieving the ethical value, Trustworthiness. Transparencies in communication and Corporate Social Responsibility also play major role in gaining the ethical values for the organization. National Higher Education Fund, one of the government link company in Malaysia, assessed to relate the literatures, strategic intervention, leadership style and motivational theories discussed by scholar in regard to the organizational development and change management practice due to the new leadership paradigm. Journals, articles from the internet resources and academic references were used to obtain information on leadership and management practice towards the subject matter. These content analysis findings will surely contribute towards evaluating and assessment of the agencystrategic intervention and new leadership paradigm that act as the point of reference for stakeholders
