Asia Pacific Journal of Social Science Research (APJSSR) published Quarterly and is a refereed journal that is listed in MyJurnal and is  indexed by MyCITE (Malaysian Citation Centre).  Asia Pacific Journal of Social Science Research (APJSSR) providing a platform for the postgraduate researchers, academicians, professional, practitioners and students to impart and share knowledge in the form of high quality empirical and theoretical research papers, case studies, literature reviews and book reviews.

Asia Pacific Journal of Social Science Research (APJSSR) is published 2 times a year

FOCUS & SCOPE
The journal includes articles within areas which include economics, political science, human geography, demography, and sociology. Main focus should be researchers in business, economics, and management focus on the areas of finance, strategy, marketing, e-commerce, auction design, industrial organizations, and the design of institutions in free-market, competitive, or political environments. Their research is highly interdisciplinary—drawing upon expertise in business, economics, political science, psychology, and mathematics, among other areas. It is highly analytical, employing a wide range of theoretical tools, models, and design mechanics.

PEER REVIEW PROCESS
Peer reviwers are expected to report Conflict Of Interest and to respect the Confidentiality And Non Disclosure Rules for the journal. APJSSR uses double blind peer review system. Referees are selected from leading athorities in the field and anually adjusted. Authors are sometimes invited to name natural candidates who should be disqualified, in which case they may be asked to provide justification (typically expressed in terms of conflict of interest). APJSSR Review process workflow below:

ARCHIVING
This journal utilizes the PKP Private LOCKSS Network (PLN). LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. APJSSR has a digital arhiving policy using PKP PLN.  

     

 

Screening Plagiarism

APJSSR does screen for plagiarism to ensuring writing & research integrity. Every submitted paper will go through plagiarism screening by Turnitin.

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. The journal follows the Budapest Open Access Initiative.  APJSSR defines open access by the following conditions:

  • peer-reviewed literature is freely available without subscription or price barriers
  • literature is immediately released in open access format (no embargo period)
  • published material can be re-used without obtaining permission as long as a correct citation to the original publication is given

  

Once content is given to APJSSR authors cannot demand to have it redrawn/taken back. However, authors are free to publish content without restrictions. APJSSR itself does not remix or reuse content submitted by authors.

 

DIGITAL OBJECT IDENTIFIER (DOI)

 

APJSSR is a member of CrossRef  on providing DOIs. APJSSR will register DOIs for all published articles.
